Users can enhance their queries by attaching text, images, PDFs, and spreadsheets. The AI typically takes 5 to 30 minutes to generate responses, with plans to include embedded charts and visual elements in the future.
Challenges and Limitations
OpenAI acknowledges that Deep Research can sometimes “hallucinate” information, making it difficult to distinguish between valid and inaccurate data. The longer the research process, the more computationally intensive it becomes.
