Meta is rolling out a powerful new AI-powered tool for creators on Facebook and Instagram. The feature automatically translates and dubs short-form videos, known as “Reels,” into other languages.
This new tool goes beyond simple translation. It uses voice-cloning technology to preserve the creator’s original tone and voice, and it even includes an optional lip-syncing feature that makes the translated speech appear natural.
Initially, the tool supports translations between English and Spanish. Meta has stated that more languages will be added in the future. The feature is being made available to Facebook creators with at least 1,000 followers and all public Instagram accounts in regions where Meta AI is available.
With this new capability, creators can easily expand their reach and connect with a global audience without the need for manual translation or hiring professional dubbing services.
