🔥 Nothing Phone (4a) Price Leak Signals the End of Budget Era

New leaks suggest the upcoming Nothing Phone (4a) series may launch with noticeably higher prices than its predecessor, hinting at a strategic shift toward the upper mid-range segment. At the same time, rumored specs point to meaningful hardware upgrades — including faster displays, improved cameras, and a newer chipset — which could justify the expected price hike.

Recent reports indicate that the upcoming Nothing Phone (4a) lineup could arrive with higher price tags than previous models, suggesting a strategic repositioning from budget-friendly devices toward a more premium mid-range category.

Standard Model Pricing

Leaks claim the Nothing Phone (4a) will launch with a single 256GB storage option paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Pricing is rumored to be about €50 higher than the previous generation, which could push the starting price past €400 — roughly $460.

Expected color options include black, white, pink, and blue, although reports suggest that pink and blue may be exclusive to the higher-RAM configuration.

Pro Variant Could Cost More

The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro is rumored to see an even larger price increase of around €90, potentially placing its entry price close to $570.

This model may ship in 128GB and 256GB storage variants with 8GB or 12GB RAM, and color options such as black, silver, and pink.

Expected Hardware Specifications

Both models are rumored to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor paired with UFS 3.1 storage. The standard version may include a 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pro model could step up to a larger 144Hz panel.

Camera rumors point to a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization and 3.5× optical zoom on the base model, along with a 32MP front camera. The Pro version could add a 50MP periscope telephoto lens for advanced zoom capabilities.

Battery and Shared Features

Both devices are expected to house batteries around 5,000mAh with 50W fast charging support and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. The Pro model may also feature a Glyph Matrix display similar to higher-end Nothing phones.

Why Prices Might Increase

  • Hardware upgrades: Faster displays, improved cameras, and newer chipsets raise production costs.
  • Brand repositioning: Nothing appears to be moving toward a more premium market segment.
  • Competitive pressure: Rival devices in the same price range now offer near-flagship performance.

Launch Date

Nothing has officially confirmed that the Phone (4a) series will be unveiled on March 5, 2026, alongside new audio products expected to debut at the same event.

Bottom line: If these leaks prove accurate, the Nothing Phone (4a) series represents not just a hardware upgrade, but a strategic shift that could redefine the brand’s position in the smartphone market.
